Blog Notes

I am going to change things up here a bit and post a summary of the whole week on Saturdays instead of a daily post. It is getting to be somewhat difficult to keep this blog updated daily including all the work that goes into preparing the daily podcast.

Episode 9 Uploaded

Episode 9 is up. This episode is the entire second round of speeches.

I have changed the format to better give you an idea where we are at in the reading by giving it an opening that is laying out the setting for what we are reading and the dates in history. Hope you enjoy it.

Episode 7 Released

Episode 7 is up. This was a little longer than I expected. I tried to read through the entire first round of speeches, but then when I looked down at the timer on the recorder, I went ahead and cut it short. in Episode 8 we will finish up the First Round and in Episode 9 we will start the first half of the Second Round.

Episode 6 Released

Well, I have loaded up Episode 6, and I have again made some slight changes to the audio. I have removed the background sound of the birds and running water. I have been told that it was a little distracting, I will agree, it probably was, so we will take it off until I find something more fitting for the background.

Episode 3 Loaded And Ready

Episode 3 is now ready for download. This Episode covers the genealogy of Seth and Cain, the birth of Noah, and the building of the Ark.

I eliminated the hum that has been in the previous recordings by unplugging my notebook computer and running the computer on it's battery. Funny how a little thing like that can change the sound quality.

Episode 2 Released

Well, Episode 2 has been sent to the net without any glitches. I want to apologize for the audio quality, there is a hum in the system I am recording on and I can not eliminate that unless I purchase a mini recording studio setup. That system will cost around $250 to purchase. If you can be praying along with me that God will provide the funds to obtain, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have plans to start a new podcast on January 1,2009. I am working on the program now for it. Here is a little hint of what it will be, Morning and Evening Podcast. I hope you will join me for this one too. We have many plans for the use of Podcasting in the near future, just with this one and the new one coming up, I am looking at over a thousand Podcast Episodes. So pray that God will use it in a powerful way.

Thank you,
May The Lord Bless You,
KJV Man

First Podcast Released

Well with a little bit of frustration to get the whole Podcasting monster figured out, I launched the first podcast. There is actually 2 podcasts, the first one is a short Introduction episode that tells about what I will be doing throughout the course of our Bible Reading Program and the second one gets right into reading about the creation of the Earth.
This is going to be real exciting because we will be reading from the Chronological Bible so that we can see the events unfold as they happened.

So join me each day as we go through the Bible for 15 minutes a day.

Welcome To KJV Reading

I would like to welcome you to the King James Version Bible Reading Blog. We believe that the KJV is the only Authorized Version of the Bible. The Bible says:
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

There are many versions of the Bible out there that have taken God's Word and changed it around so we may better understand what it is saying, but it has changed the meaning of what God wanted us to receive from it.

This Blog is dedicated to getting the KJV Bible out on the Internet. We will be doing that by creating a daily Bible reading format in form of Podcasts that you can download onto your Ipod or MP3 player to listen to on your way to and from work, out on your jog, or sitting at your computer. The time frame will be approx. 15 min. a day. We hope you will be able to use this and let your friends know about us and encourage them to listen to the Bible on Podcast daily.
